Nigeria Air's launch will have to wait as its first aircraft returns to Ethiopia

It was one of the Buhari government's key promises for Nigeria's aviation sector. Despite the colossal sums invested since the announcement of its creation in 2018, Nigeria Air did not finally take off at the end of May as promised. The first Boeing 737-800, 11 years old, of the future national flag, was dispatched to its original base in Addis Ababa on Saturday May 27, 2023.
