Since launching operations on 1 April 2014, Jambojet has mainly served the Kenyan domestic market, with just one city outside the country. In the midst of expanding its network, Kenya Airways' low-cost subsidiary, announces its arrival in neighbouring Tanzania.
Since 2022, Kenya and Somalia have been working to normalise their diplomatic relations. In August this year, the two neighbouring countries in the Horn of Africa signed a bilateral air transport agreement, thereby reinforcing the links between the two countries.
As previously announced, Air Senegal will no longer be serving Spain, Italy, Lyon and Marseille in France from mid-January 2024. In a press release published on Tuesday 21 November 2023, the Senegalese national carrier informs that these destinations will henceforth be accessible "by indirect flight via Paris thanks to agreements with Air France currently being finalised".
