Burkina-Faso Burkina Faso sets 2024 deadline for new Ouagadougou International Airport

The construction site for the Ouagadougou-Donsin international airport, which has been in gestation for some twenty years, was finally launched in November 2017.

Located 35 km north of the Burkinabe capital, it will replace the current airport built around the 1950s and now totally enclosed due to the spatial expansion of the population.
