Ethiopian Airlines resumes flights to Athens
Ethiopian Airlines(Ethiopian), the largest aviation group in Africa, last week resumed flights between Addis Ababa and Athens International Airport (AIA) in Greece.
The only airline connecting Greece with Sub-Saharan Africa, Ethiopian will carry out three weekly flights, operated by B737-800 aircraft, between the two cities.
Following an 18-year absence from the Athenian market, Ethiopian relaunched the Addis Ababa – Athens route in late 2019 (before the Covid period). During the two years of the pandemic, Ethiopian continued its flights throughout the July 2020 – February 2022 period and now since June 23.
