Brussels Airlines entrusts its ground handling to Aviance Ghana Limited
ISAGO certified, Aviance Ghana Limited is one of the top three full service passenger and cargo handling providers at the Accra Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
Aviance Ghana Limited is now the provider of passenger and ground handling services to Brussels Airlines flights at the Accra Kotoka International Airport. The partnership between the two parties began on Saturday, October 1, 2022, with the hosting of the first flight of the Belgian national airline.
"Despite the rain, the Aviance team performed an exceptional operation, which allowed the flight to take off on time, and help Brussels Airlines to provide exceptional service to its customers," boasts the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) certified company.
Symbolically, the handling of this first flight was attended by some members of Aviance's management, including the Managing Director, Director of Operations, Director of Human Resources and Director of Airport Services.
"Having Brussels Airlines as part of the Star Alliance only strengthens our portfolio and connectivity to the Ghanaian domestic market," Aviance CEO Mark Kamis told AviationGhana.
At Accra Airport, Aviance currently serves 28 scheduled and seasonal passenger and cargo carriers, including the US-based United Airlines. The company also manages the Adinkra Lounge in Terminal 3 of the same hub. It also provides aircraft weight and balance calculation and aircraft load planning services.
