Afrijet becomes IATA's 301st member Afrijet becomes IATA's 301st member

A private Gabonese company founded in 2005 in Libreville, Afrijet became the leading airline in the CEMAC zone in 2019. A historical charter player, the company has developed a regional scheduled air transport network since October 2016.

Afrijet is now a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The organisation announced the airline's membership on Thursday 10 November 2022. The Gabonese private airline becomes the fifteenth to join IATA in 2022, after Sudanese Badr Airlines, World Fly, Flybaghdad, Smartwings, Flyone, Amapola.nu, La Compagnie, Airlines Belgium, Airlines Ireland, Air Changan, Edelweiss, Voepass, Scoot and Amelia. The carrier also becomes the 301st member of the Association.
