XEjet Airline takes delivery of additional Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft
Xejet, a luxury airline, has taken delivery of an additional Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft with the registration number: 5N-XEJ.
The acquisition of the aircraft, our correspondent gathered, was part of the airline’s fleet expansion and business plan. The additional aircraft arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja on October 12, 2023. Emmanuel Iza, the Managing Director, XEjet, in an interview with our correspondent on Friday, confirmed the development and affirmed that the arrival of the equipment was part of the operational expansion plan of the airline.
Iza also expressed delight with the delivery of the new aircraft, which he said would add more value to its services.
He said: “The arrival of the equipment will boost our operation and it is in line with our operational strategy to make more seats available to our patrons both current and prospective.” Iza reiterated the airline’s mission that Xejet would not relent in providing cost-effective and customer-oriented smart business air travel options to passengers in a single-class of travel.
“We would also strive to provide a rewarding work environment for our employees and to become an employer of choice. We would be an Airline that maintains excellent professional relationships with all our various suppliers and business partners. We will always work hard to maintain consistently high standards of safety by applying the latest training, industry best practice and technology available.”
With the addition, Xejet now has three CRJ200 aircraft with registration numbers: 5N-XEL, 5N-XEJ and 5N-XEK. The 5N-XEL and 5N-XEJ jets have 24 VIP seats configured, while 5N-XEK has 17 VIP seats configured.
The airline also has two Embraer 145 in its growing list.
