Air Peace receives recognition for innovative initiatives and commitment to excellence
Air Peace, a pioneer in Nigeria’s aviation sector, has received another prestigious award for its groundbreaking achievements. The airline according to a statement by its spokesperson Stanley Oliseh was honored with the Achievement Award in the Corporate Category at the 2024 Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Awards and Annual Dinner, held on May 4th at the Monarch Event Center in Lagos.
The award recognizes Air Peace’s exceptional performance and innovative initiatives, particularly its recent entry into the London market.
The airline’s Safety Manager, Captain Godfrey Ogbogu, accepted the award on behalf of Air Peace and expressed gratitude to ICAN for the recognition. Captain Ogbogu praised ICAN’s commitment to promoting high standards of professionalism in accounting practice.
He also highlighted Air Peace’s mission to connect cities locally, regionally, and globally, with a focus on reducing the burden of air travel for Nigerians and fostering economic prosperity across cities, countries, and continents.
ICAN, established in 1965, aims to produce world-class Chartered Accountants and regulate their ethical standards and technical competence in the public interest.
