Royal Air Maroc to kick-off Abuja-Casablanca route
Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc, is set to inaugurate a new direct route connecting Abuja, Nigeria, with Casablanca, Morocco in a fortnight.
The airline recently revealed that the route expansion, commencing on June 23rd, 2024, would offer Nigerian travelers a convenient and pleasant gateway to delve into the diverse Moroccan culture. Expressing his enthusiasm, the Country General Manager of Royal Air Maroc, Ahmed Boussouf, highlighted the opportunities awaiting discovery by Nigerians in Casablanca.
“We are excited to bridge the gap between Nigeria and Morocco with this new route,” stated Boussouf. “Casablanca presents a fascinating fusion of history, vibrant culture, and modern experiences, waiting to be explored by Nigerian travelers. Royal Air Maroc is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience, making Morocco a memorable destination for all.”
The announcement emphasized that Casablanca, as Morocco’s largest city, offers a captivating blend of historical sites, lively markets, and a thriving cultural environment.

Royal Air Maroc’s fresh Abuja-Casablanca route will operate thrice a week, starting on June 23rd, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
