Singapore Airlines increases flights to Johannesburg
The flag carrier of Singapore, Singapore Airlines, is planning to increase its flight capacity between Changi Airport (SIN) in Singapore and OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg, South Africa, during the 2025 Northern Summer season.
Starting from 11 December 2024 to 10 January 2025 and again from 02 April 2025 to 24 October 2025, the airline will add three weekly flights to Johannesburg. This adjustment will raise the total to ten weekly flights during these periods, from the current daily flights. The flights will be operated by an Airbus A350-900.
The schedule for the three weekly additional flights (11 Decemeber 2024 - 10 January 2025):
- Singapore 16:35 > 21:15 Johannesburg on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays
- Johannesburg 22:30 > 14:55+1 Singapore on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays
The schedule for the three weekly additional flights (02 April 2025 - 24 October 2025):
- Singapore 13:55 > 18:25 Johannesburg on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays
- Johannesburg 19:50 > 12:15+1 Singapore on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays
