ASKY welcomes new Boeing 737-8MAX ASKY welcomes new Boeing 737-8MAX

ASKY Airlines, the leading Pan-African airline, celebrated a significant milestone with the arrival of its new Boeing 737-8MAX aircraft. The state-of-the-art jet, registered ET-BAT, marks a major step forward in the airline’s commitment to modernizing its fleet and enhancing passenger experience.

ET-BAT replaces ET-ANG, the very first aircraft to join ASKY’s fleet in 2010. Over the past 14 years, ET-ANG has faithfully served the airline, completing approximately 19,286 flights and clocking in over 26,747 hours of flight time. It has been instrumental in connecting Africa and fostering regional integration.

The new Boeing 737-8MAX offers several advantages over its predecessor, including improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and a more comfortable passenger experience. With 189 all-economy seats, ET-BAT will provide enhanced services to ASKY’s growing customer base.

According to the CEO of ASKY, “The arrival of ET-BAT is a testament to our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability. We are grateful for the service that ET-ANG has provided over the years and are excited to welcome this new aircraft into our fleet. ET-BAT will help us continue to connect Africa and offer our passengers the highest quality of service.”
