Discover Garden Paradise at the 2024 Franschhoek Open Garden Festival

The celebrated annual Franschhoek Open Gardens event is set to return mid-November, inviting garden enthusiasts and green thumbs alike to immerse themselves in a weekend of breathtaking natural beauty. This event showcases a delightful array of ten gardens, ranging from grand estates to charming, intimate spaces, all nestled in the heart of the “valley of dreams.”

From 10 am to 5 pm daily on the weekend of November 15th to 17th, guests are invited to explore these enchanting landscapes at their leisure. Attendees can enjoy access to all gardens for just R200 per person, with tickets available for purchase throughout the weekend at the NG Church Hall on Franschhoek’s Main Street or online via Web Tickets. Each ticket comes with a detailed brochure featuring comprehensive maps to help visitors navigate and fully appreciate all things green and growing.

Guests can savour traditional teas and homemade scones on the picturesque lawns of La Cotte Farm or explore the gardens while sipping the finest Cap Classiques from the surrounding wine valley. They can also enjoy wine tastings that celebrate the local terroir, discover a variety of local products inspired by indigenous plants, and browse a selection of plants for purchase, allowing them to bring a piece of this enchanting experience to their own gardens.
