Aero Contractors Introduces Minimum Ticket Price of N80,000 for Local Flights During Festive Season

Aero Contractors has announced a minimum ticket price of N80,000 for domestic flights across its routes during the festive season. The airline's Managing Director, Ado Sanusi, shared this news during a press briefing on Tuesday, describing the initiative as a way to ease the financial burden on Nigerians during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Sanusi explained that this initiative, which will be in effect until January 2024, reflects the company’s commitment to giving back to its customers during the holiday period. “We recognize the economic challenges Nigerians are facing, particularly with rising ticket prices, and we understand that the holiday season is approaching.

In the spirit of Christmas, Aero Contractors has introduced what we call pocket-friendly Christmas prices. These fares, starting at N80,000, will apply to all our destinations, allowing Nigerians to travel without excessive costs,” he stated. As of Tuesday afternoon, a one-way economy ticket from Lagos to Abuja was priced at N99,643, while business class tickets were available for N189,167.

Sanusi emphasized that the airline designed this initiative to help families reunite during the holidays without incurring excessive travel expenses. “This is our way, as a long-standing organization serving Nigerians, to give back to our loyal customers. We want to make it feasible for families to connect with their loved ones during this festive season without the worry of high travel costs,” he added. He assured customers that despite the price reduction, Aero Contractors would maintain profitability, having considered the current economic landscape.
