Discover Airlines Expands Route Network to the Seychelles

Discover Airlines is adding the archipelago in the Indian Ocean to its route network. Starting in Winter 2025, the holiday airline will operate non-stop flights from Frankfurt to the Seychelles twice a week for the first time. The inaugural flight is scheduled to depart on October 26. Flights to the main island of Mahé will be available for booking from mid-December, as announced by the Lufthansa subsidiary.

Discover's flights to the Seychelles will operate every Tuesday and Sunday, departing Frankfurt at 21:55 and arriving at Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on Mahé after approximately ten hours of flight time.

Return flights are also planned as night flights, according to the airline.

Seychelles as a Stopover en Route to Mauritius The new route is designed to include onward flights from the Seychelles to Mauritius. According to Discover, this optimized route will provide travelers to Mauritius with "more comfortable arrival and departure times." With the Seychelles, Discover Airlines is expanding the Lufthansa Group's portfolio to include a destination that has previously only been serviced by its sister airline Edelweiss from Zurich. Flights to the Seychelles can be booked starting mid-December.
