Etihad Airways Enhances Connectivity with New Codeshare Agreement with Air Astana

Etihad Airways has officially launched its bilateral codeshare agreement with Air Astana, effective December 5, 2024. This partnership significantly improves connectivity for travelers of both airlines, offering Etihad customers easy access to ten new destinations through Air Astana's hubs in Almaty and Astana.

Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, is celebrated for its cultural richness, breathtaking mountain scenery, and vibrant nightlife. In contrast, the capital city, Astana, is renowned for its impressive modern architecture and lively urban environment. The new codeshare arrangement streamlines the travel experience for passengers, allowing them to book a single itinerary and enjoy a hassle-free check-in process. Additionally, travelers will benefit from the effortless transfer of their baggage to their ultimate destination. Etihad customers can now conveniently connect to Air Astana’s extensive network via the recently introduced nonstop flights to Abu Dhabi.

Furthermore, this agreement provides Air Astana passengers with access to Etihad Airways’ flights, unlocking exciting travel opportunities to destinations such as India, Bahrain, and Oman. Passengers traveling with Air Astana will experience seamless connections in Abu Dhabi, using the airline's direct flights from both Astana and Almaty.
