Etihad Airways Expands Abu Dhabi–Atlanta Route to Daily Flights
Etihad Airways has announced that its Abu Dhabi–Atlanta service will increase to daily flights starting 1 November 2025, just four months after the route’s launch. This decision comes in response to overwhelming demand for the UAE’s only non-stop connection to Atlanta, a key gateway in the United States.
The route, operated by the Airbus A350-1000, offers passengers seamless one-stop connections to major South Asian destinations, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, and Karachi. This connectivity is further enhanced by Abu Dhabi’s U.S. CBP Preclearance, allowing passengers to complete U.S. immigration and customs formalities before boarding, ensuring a smooth arrival in Atlanta.
Introductory fares for the route start at AED 1,925 in Economy Class and AED 10,010 in Business Class, making it an attractive option for both leisure and business travelers. The increased frequency is part of Etihad’s broader global growth strategy, which includes the addition of 13 new destinations in 2024, further strengthening its position as a leading global carrier.
The move to daily flights is expected to significantly enhance connectivity between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s busiest airport by passenger volume, and Etihad’s growing global network. This expansion not only caters to the high demand for travel between the UAE and the U.S. but also provides travelers with opportunities to explore Abu Dhabi as a stopover destination.
The Abu Dhabi–Atlanta route is a strategic addition to Etihad’s U.S. network, which already includes major cities such as New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.. By offering daily flights, Etihad aims to position itself as a preferred carrier for travelers seeking premium experiences and convenient connections to South Asia and beyond.
With the introduction of this daily service, Etihad Airways continues to demonstrate its commitment to meeting passenger demand while expanding its global footprint. For African travel agents, this development presents an excellent opportunity to promote Abu Dhabi as a hub for seamless travel to the U.S. and South Asia, offering clients a premium travel experience with competitive fares.
As the route launches in July 2025, the daily service from November 2025 is set to further strengthen ties between the UAE and the U.S., making it a key milestone in Etihad’s ambitious growth plans.
