Uganda Airlines and Airlink Forge Interline Partnership to Boost Southern and East African Connectiv
Uganda Airlines, the national carrier of Uganda, has formalized a new interline agreement with South Africa’s regional airline Airlink, significantly enhancing regional connectivity across Southern Africa. The partnership integrates Uganda Airlines’ network with Airlink’s extensive route system via Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB), facilitating smoother and more convenient travel for passengers across the region.
Under this collaboration, travellers can now book a single ticket for seamless journeys from Entebbe International Airport (EBB) to over 45 destinations throughout South Africa and neighboring Southern African countries. The agreement enables through-check-in of baggage and simplified transfers in Johannesburg, allowing passengers to enjoy the convenience of one itinerary for their entire trip.
