Air Austral to order Airbus A220

Last week Airbus has announced that the Réunion based carrier Air Austral has signed an order for the delivery of three Airbus A220-300.

Air Austral will be the first customer of this model in the Indian Ocean Region. With the implementation of the A220 will effect in 20% less fuel consumption and therefore, the airline is able to reduce its carbon footprint significantly. The aircraft will start to join Air Austral's fleet by the end of 2020
