Carnival's "Mardi Gras" delayed
A couple of ship builders had problems to deliver in time. This time Carnical Cruises is affected.
The "Mardi Gras" was supoosed to be deliverd on the 31st of August 2020; however, now it has been confirmed the ship will be only delivered on November 14th. As a result, eight trips had the be cancelled. All affected clients have been already informed.
The "Mardi Gras" is currently built at the Meyer Werft in Turku (Finland) and will be the largest ship in the Carnival Cruises fleet with up to 5,200 passengers. The engines will operate environment-friendly with liquid gas only (LNG). One of the highlights is an in-built roller coaster.
