Air Austral plans exit from Air Madagascar

As per the latest reports received from La Réunion and Madagascar, there are some signs that the partnership between Air Austral and Air Madagascar, which started off in 2017, appears to be heading to the end. After the initial 15. Mio. Euros as an injection have been paid, Air Austral has not paid the next amount as per contract. Also, in Air Austral's financial statements, the related amount of € 25 Mio. is missing.

Further, it looks as if Air Austral is already in talks and negotiations with potential investors from Madagascar to acquire some or maybe even all of its shares.

However, it seems to be difficult to find investors for Air Madagascar, neither Qatar Airways and nor Turkish Airlines have not shown any signs of interest.
