Air Seychelles announces twice a week flights to Dubai
Air Seychelles, in a break from past UAE destinations when the airline concentrated entirely on partner Etihad’s Abu Dhabi hub, has now announced a twice a week service from Mahe to Dubai, every Tuesday and Saturday.
There, similar to what was done previously with Etihad Airways, can passengers transfer to Emirates for reaching their final destination. The airline has yet to issue a formal press release on the move but the route is being advertised on their Facebook page already since yesterday.
It also remains to be seen if the service will continue beyond the month of July, as that timeline is presently confirmed through the published advertisement.
Air Seychelles had at the end of June operated two special repatriation flights to and from Dubai but this has now apparently been turned into a regular air link which will allow tourists to return to the islands, as long as they meet all the requirements of the Department of Health, which include a pre travel test not older than 48 hours before travel commenced and additional tests on arrival at the airport on Mahe.
