Senegal extends tax relief for Tourism sector
The President of the Republic of Senegal Macky Sall has announced that Government will extend tax reliefs for the tourism sector till 2021. The Government as part of mitigating measures to assuage the plight of the badly hit tourism sector in the wake of the pandemic granted tax reliefs such as waiving off corporation tax, withholding tax among others to revive the country’s tourism sector.
Speaking at a Presidential Council on Economic Recovery, the head of state said, it was imperative to support the sector to accelerate recovery of the sector.
