Blue Safari Seychelles announce the re-opening of Cosmoledo Atoll and Alphonse Island, two beautiful and protected tropical paradises in the heart of the Indian Ocean. The COVID-safe destinations are so secluded that guests can experience freedom and flexibility, whilst exploring these pristine islands.

The stunning and remote locations of Alphonse Island and Cosmoledo Atoll guarantees freedom and peace of mind for every guest. The vast size of Alphonse Island and Cosmoledo Atoll allows guests to experience the raw beauty of these extraordinary places whilst maintaining social distancing, whilst immersing themselves in the natural wonder and beauty.

At Alphonse Island and Cosmoledo Atoll, luxury lies in the privilege, the opportunity to traverse the pristine areas with a group of dedicated and passionate marine biologists, environmentalists and crew, who cannot do enough to feed your mind and make your soul soar. Every member of staff is trained in new operating procedures and educated in proper hygiene practices whilst ensuring social distancing measures are in place.

Guests will continue to enjoy a special welcome experience with careful measures put in place, including temperature checks, luggage disinfected, hand sanitiser provided, and delicious drinks and meals served without contact. Before embarking on their journey to the Seychelles all guests must provide a negative PCR test from an accredited Government certified laboratory within 48 hours before departure and have valid travel insurance with full medical coverage, including Covid-19 cover.

All domestic flights have been expertly scheduled and tailored around BA flights from the UK, providing guests with a smooth and efficient transfer. Flights take place once a week, ensuring that the islands remain COVID-free. Alphonse Island is only a short one-hour flight from Mahe where guests will land in paradise; miles of breath-taking shorelines and sea flats covered with coconut palms and tropical flora.

The idyllic Cosmoledo Atoll is situated over 1,000km from Mahe - a 90-minute plane journey from the mainland of Mahe and an additional 90-minute boat trip from the Astove Atoll. Isolation creates an atmosphere of undisturbed solitude in an unparalleled biome of diversity and abundance.

Guests of Blue Safari Seychelles can experience the fascinating marine environment on a first-hand basis as they swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean and encounter shoals of assorted, vibrantly coloured fish of varying species: green and hawksbill turtles, spinner dolphins and humpback whales, all in their natural environment. Swimming with sailfish and manta rays is an unforgettable experience like no other. An encounter with these animals in their habitat is an incredible and unforgettable experience, whether seen from a boat, from the shore or in the Indian Ocean itself. Be amazed as they flash through the crystal waters and witness these craniate animals in their environment. These unique experiences with an extensive array of marine life make Alphonse Island and Cosmoledo Atoll nothing short of spectacular.
