FlyWestair is strengthening its domestic offer with a new route between Windhoek and Walvis Bay from November 20. Domestically, the private Namibian company already serves Oranjemund, Ondangwa and Toivo Ya Toivo. Outside the borders, it flies to Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa.

From 20 November, Westair Aviation, which operates under the “FlyWestair” brand name, will serve Walvis Bay from Windhoek. The Namibian private carrier will offer 2 weekly flights (Friday and Sunday) between the Namibian capital and the port city. Still on the domestic front, the carrier also offers 2 connections per week (Friday and Sunday) to Ondangwa and Toivo Ya Toivo.

Internationally, FlyWestair resumed travel to South Africa at the end of October, with 2 weekly flights (Monday and Friday) to Cape Town. At the beginning of November, the Namibian pavilion opened a new corridor with the Rainbow Nation. The 2 return trips per week (Tuesday and Thursday) lead to Johannesburg.

Based at Windhoek-Eros International Airport, FlyWestair launched operations in June 2019, with 3 flights per week to Oranjemund. It operates an exclusive fleet of four Embraer E145s. The company plans to expand its network to other cities in Namibia and the sub-region.
