Crystal Cruises announces Suez Canal voyage ending in Petra for 2021 Crystal Cruises announces Suez Canal voyage ending in Petra for 2021

Crystal Cruises will be sending its luxury yacht-like cruise ship Espirit back to the Middle East in 2021 on a series of voyages that take in the Holy Land, Petra and the glistening ancient coastal cities of the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal.

The nine cruises aboard Espirit in April, 2021, and in November through December, 2022 and 2023 include cruises from Aqaba in Jordan, Dubrovnik in Croatia and Larnaca in Cyprus bound for Petra, as well as roundtrip cruises from Eilat in Israel.

The 9-night Iconic Passages: Corinth & Suez itinerary aboard its Crystal Esprit sails from Dubrovnik, Croatia on April 1, 2021, cruising to Sharm El-Sheik and Safaga (Egypt), Delphi and Santorini (Greece), and, of course, the Corinth and Suez canals before ending in Aqaba, the gateway to Petra. Prices start at US $4,499 per person. Bookings made before January 6th offer US $125 worth of onboard credit and low solo fares of 150 percent.

On April 10th, the yacht will cruise from Aqaba back to the Mediterranean, ending the cruise in Limassol, Cyprus. On November 23rd, 2021, she’ll cruise back to Aqaba in Jordan, making the return cruise to Larnaca on April 9th, 2022.

The 7-night roundtrip Eilat cruises from Israel will commence on November 19th, 2023, with two more cruises on November 26th and December 3rd.

“Dotted with palms and pools and renowned for its diving, a round-trip journey from Eilat opens to Red Sea resort towns famed for beaches and water play, and archaeological treasures from the Valley of the Kings and Pyramids of Giza to magical Petra,” Crystal Cruises says of the destination in Israel. The itineraries visit Hurghada, Luxor, Sharm El-Sheikh and Cairo in Egypt (via Port Suez), as well as Aqaba (Petra) before returning to Eilat.

Crystal Cruises yacht-like cruise ship Espirit carries just 62 passengers and is an all-suite vessel with Yacht Suites available, as well as the Owner’s Suite, a sprawling luxury accomodation. Although small compared to other cruise ships, Espirit features a Yacht Club bar, a Patio Cafe for al fresco dining, a Sunset Grill and the charming Pantry for coffees and pastries.

There is also, of course, a submersible platform at the stern from where her signature luxury submersibles are launched.
