From 2022, KLM will offer Premium Economy and a revamped World Business Class
The first KLM aircraft equipped with Premium Economy will take to the air in mid-2022 said CEO Pieter Elbers in an interview with Luchtvaartnieuws Magazine. From 2022, KLM will also offer a revamped World Business Class cabin.
“We continue to invest in our onboard product, also during the coronavirus crisis”, said Elbers. “We recently decided that the investments in the product – and therefore the service towards the customer – must continue.
Elbers added: “Our partners Air France, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic already offer Premium Economy. If KLM does not have that, then you have product differences that you would rather not want for the customer.” PH-BVV and PH-BVW, the 2 Boeing 777-300ERs that KLM will receive this year and in early 2021, will be delivered with the current cabins, then upgraded to the new ones. via Luchtvaartnieuws
