Uganda Airlines operates into Kinshasa (DRC) from December 18
Uganda Airlines' regional network is growing. From December 18, the Ugandan national carrier will operate a direct flight between Entebbe and Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The largest French-speaking city in the world will be linked three times a week, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The service will be operated, without competition, in CRJ900.
This new destination expands Uganda Airlines’s growing network, which celebrated its first year of operations last August.
The carrier already serves Nairobi, Mombasa, Mogadishu, Dar Es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, Bujumbura and Juba.
Flights to Lusaka and Johannesburg are expected in the coming weeks. Services to Khartoum and Cairo are also being considered. Remember that the company, which currently operates a homogeneous fleet of 4 CRJ900s, will take delivery of the first of its two A330-800neos by the end of the month. These acquisitions will be used for the construction of its network outside Africa. Services to Dubai, London and Guangzhou are announced for 2021.
