United Nigeria with more frequencies on Lagos to Abuja
United Nigeria Airlines has increased frequencies into the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos and the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport (NAA) in Abuja. The airline said that it will now fly the two routes daily; Lagos-Abuja at 16:00hrs and Abuja-Lagos at 17:30hrs.
A statement by the airline said that the new schedule adds to its regular schedule on the Lagos-Abuja-Lagos route, which emanates from the Murtala Muhammed Airport Two (MMA2), Lagos at 13:00hrs and from Abuja at 14:30hrs. The additional schedule is effective Friday, May 7, 2021, the airline said.
The airline had last month further spread its wings with the commencement of Lagos-Port Harcourt and Abuja-Port Harcourt daily flights.
The direct flight had commenced on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
The flight to Port Harcourt usually departs from the private terminal at 1.30pm., while the Port Harcourt flight to Abuja departs at 3:00pm daily.
Also flights from Abuja to Port Harcourt depart at 4:30pm daily, while the airline also operates regular flights from Port Harcourt to Lagos daily at 6:00pm.
Besides, Mazi Osita Okonkwo, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), United Nigeria Airlines, recently said its operations, customer service and destinations had been organised to ensure excellence and pursue integrity as a goal. Okonkwo in an interview with aviation journalists said the airline was very deep-rooted into learning and into knowing their limitations and growing into their experiences, adding that gradually, it was creating the necessary systems, processes institutions and organs that would help the management achieve the target they have set for themselves.
He stated that for an organization to be ratted excellent in performance, it must identify all the weaknesses and the strength and be able to develop a widow of opportunity and manage the threats.
