Air Seychelles extends its partnership with Hahn Air Air Seychelles extends its partnership with Hahn Air

The collaboration between Air Seychelles and Hahn Air is growing. The German ticketing solutions provider announced on Monday 5th May that it has extended its partnership with the Seychelles national carrier, which has chosen the X1-Air product, thus completing its indirect distribution strategy.

Air Seychelles already uses Hahn Air's HR-169 product, which enables it to sell its tickets in other markets where it is not a member of the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP). By combining with the X1-Air product, the Seychelles airline's flights are now available for ticketing under its own HM code in global distribution systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Sirena as well as in Sabre and Travelport under the X1 code.

At the same time, Hahn Air allows travel agents (approximately 100,000 in 190 markets worldwide) to sell any Air Seychelles flight, opening up endless sales opportunities, especially in secondary markets.

Based at Victoria Airport in Mahé, the recently renationalised Air Seychelles serves international destinations such as Mumbai in India, Johannesburg in South Africa, Tel Aviv in Israel and Mauritius. On the domestic network, it offers daily domestic flights between Mahé and Praslin as well as charter services throughout the archipelago. Managed by Sandy Benoiton since 1 July, it has a fleet of two Airbus A320neo and five DHC-6 Twin Otters.
