Kenya: Revamped Isiolo Int'l Airport to resume operations in January 2022

Part of the LAPSSET corridor, Isiolo International Airport was officially inaugurated in July 2017. However, the hub has not lived up to its expectations in passenger transport, with some airlines withdrawing after only a few flights.

Since then, the government has initiated an upgrade of the facility, with the aim of making it a major sub-regional cargo hub.
