Zimbabwe has eased entry requirements for all arrivals
The Government of Zimbabwe has amended the current Covid-19 Level 2 National Lockdown Measures. According to a press release issued by the Department of Presidential Communications and signed by Zimbabwe's Acting Minister of Health and Childcare, Prof. Dr. Amon Murwira, the measures have been reviewed as follows (tourism-related only):
- Curfew in Zimbabwe shall now begin at midnight (00:00) and end at 05:30 the following day
- Restaurants and hotels in Zimbabwe offering services to operate from 08:00 and close at 22:00 and allow sit-ins only for fully vaccinated persons
- Bars and night clubs in Zimbabwe shall open from 08:00 to 22:00 only for vaccinated persons
- All persons entering Zimbabwe must undergo a valid Covid-19 PCR test not more than 48 hours from the time of their departure for Zimbabwe. Those who do not have a valid negative PCR test and a certificate to that effect shall be denied entry into Zimbabwe
- Quarantine for locals, returning residents and visitors is lifted for those fully vaccinated
- The wearing of face masks in public places, especially public transport and closed space gatherings remain mandatory and must be enforced
The COVID-19 Level National Lockdown Review Measures:
-Schools now opening on the 7th of February 2022
-Curfew beginning at 0000hrs-0530hrs
-Restaurants to close at 2200hrs
-A 48 hour or less before departure negative PCR test needed to enter Zim
