Kuwait Airways adds third flight to Casablanca
On 1 June, Kuwait Airways inaugurated its new route to Casablanca in Morocco. Just launched, the Kuwaiti flag carrier is already thinking of increasing its offer on this very promising corridor.
From 31 October 2022, Kuwait Airways will add a third weekly flight on its route between Kuwait and Morocco.
The new rotation will be introduced every Monday, complementing the current two frequencies on Fridays and Sundays, reports AeroRoutes.
Flight KU123 takes off from Kuwait City International Airport at 14:00 to land in Casablanca at 19:25 and on the return leg, flight KU124 leaves the Moroccan economic capital at 20:50 to arrive at its hub at 06:00 the next day. The route will be operated by Airbus 330-800, which can accommodate
32 passengers in Business class and 203 in Economy.
The opening of this route reflects the strong and solid relations between the two countries since the first visit of the late King Mohammed V to Kuwait in 1961, and is expected to further boost economic and tourism exchanges between the two sister countries. In 2019, according to the traffic between Kuwait and the Maghreb country totalled some 60,000 round-trip passengers.
