Kenya Airways Nairobi to make Kenya Airways financially self-sufficient by December 2023

Loss-making since 2013, Kenya Airways (KQ) is aiming for profitability within a year. To achieve this, the Kenyan parastatal airline must first break its dependence on public finances. The government of William Ruto has made this a priority in its 2023 budget policy statement - the first to be drawn up under the new administration.
