UAE Emirates Airline Giant EMIRATES suspends all passenger flights

"The world is in quarantine" - this is a statement of Emirates chairman Sheik Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

As of next Wednesday, 25th of March, Emirates will shut down its world-wide passenger operations, whereas all cargo operations will remain active. Emirates is looking very sceptical into the future as the outlook and the future demand most likely would be very low.

The Nigeran Civil Aviation Authority has announced to close all airports in Nigeria as of 23rd of March at 23:00hrs until 23rd of April at 23:00 hrs for all incoming international flights:

They have also stated that emergency and essential flights will be excepted. Domestic flights will continue to operate normal.

UK Virgin Atlantic Virgin Atlantic to return to Capetown

As of 25th of October 2020 Virgin Atlantic will return to Capetown.

This service will be operated daily on a Boeing B787-9 offering 264 seats in total, connecting London Heathrow and Capetown. From Heathrow down South Virgin Atlantic will operate as a night flight, whereas on the way back to London the flight will operate during the daytime.
