EgyptAir increases flights to Moscow in Russia
EgyptAir resumed its service to Moscow in April after a one-month interruption. For this summer season, it has decided to reinforce its offer on this route. From 7 July until the end of October 2022, the Egyptian flag carrier will launch 3 additional flights between its Cairo hub and the Russian capital, bringing the total number of weekly flights to 10 on this route, reports the Russian news agency TASS.
The Egyptian state-owned carrier is in competition on this route with the Russian company Aeroflot.
As a reminder, Egyptair had suspended its Russian flights on 17 March due to the Russo-Ukrainian crisis. It then resumed them on April 15, 2022 by lining up its Boeing 737-800 fleet with one daily flight.
