Airlink to increase flights to St Helena

The St Helena Government (SHG) has announced that Airlink is set to increase flights between South Africa and the island of St Helena.

The South African regional carrier will operate weekly flights between OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg and St Helena Airport (HLE) on St Helena on Saturdays from 08 October 2022. The service will still include the monthly inter-Island service with Ascension Island and additional inter-Island flights during the peak period.

Airlink flights with St Helena recommenced in March 2022. Since then the Island has seen eight flights operated fortnightly between Johannesburg and St Helena.
