Antananarivo and Nosy Be airport ISA-certified
By acquiring the management of Antananarivo and Nosy Be international airports 6 years ago, Ravinala Airports committed to develop their capacities, refurbish their facilities, and bring them up to safety and environmental protection standards, among others.
The international airports of Antananarivo and Nosy Be meet international standards in terms of service quality and respect for the environment. The private operator of the two hubs, Ravinala Airports, obtained on 20 July 2022, the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and ISO 14 001:2015 environmental management system certifications. They join the short list of 10 African and Indian Ocean airports that have received both certifications.
"Ravinala Airports' vision is to become a leading airport operator in the Indian Ocean by 2025. We are aware that the road is long. Nevertheless, we are going step by step, working for the satisfaction of passengers and airport users, by improving our working method and quality of service," says Felana Ratsimbazafy, Ravinala Airports' QHSSSEMR Director.
"We are proud of these certifications which crown the efforts of all Ravinala Airports employees in the service of passengers, airlines, and the image of Madagascar in the world," says the company. As a reminder, it was in 2016 that Ravinala Airports obtained the concession of the international airport of Antananarivo-Ivato and Nosy Be. The consortium headed by Meridiam (45% of shares against 35% for Aéroports de Paris, 10% for Bouygues Bâtiment International and the same for Colas) is responsible for managing and developing these two main airport platforms in Madagascar for 28 years.
"We are proud of these certifications which crown the efforts of all Ravinala Airports employees in the service of passengers, airlines, and the image of Madagascar in the world," says the company.
