AFRAA launches road data information portal
Forte de ses 44 membres, l'Association des compagnies aériennes africaines (AFRAA), en partenariat avec Milanamos, le principal prestataire de services en matière de marketing en Afrique, a lancé, ce 7 octobre 2022, un portail consacré aux renseignements sur les routes aériennes.
The 44-member Association of African Airlines (AFRAA), in partnership with Milanamos, Africa's leading marketing services provider, launched a route information portal on 7 October 2022.
The data-driven portal is a gateway for airlines to access useful information on networks within Africa and on routes between Africa and the rest of the world. The AFRAA Route Data Information Portal will be a valuable tool to provide information and reports on - Analysis of traffic demand on routes- Analysis of revenue forecasts by route-Opportunities for airlines beyond connections- Analysis of potential route partnerships- Prospects in underserved marketsAnalysis of potential tourism demand "This partnership between AFRAA and Milanamos is focused on data information which is the 5th objective of the Association's 2021-2025 strategic plan. I therefore invite airlines to subscribe to the portal, which will enable them to make data-driven decisions on connectivity opportunities, passenger/freight capacity as well as route profitability, so as to be able to respond effectively to the needs of the growing African aviation market," commented AFRAA Secretary General, Mr. Abdérahmane Berthé. For his part, Mr. Christophe Ritter, CEO of Milanamos said that "through this portal, AFRAA provides, better than any other airline association, a remarkable support to African air carriers.
