Air Algérie returns to Metz in France after an absence of more than 2 years

Air Algérie will once again serve Metz-Nancy-Lorraine airport. For its winter programme (31 October 2022 to 25 March 2023), the Algerian national airline is proposing two routes to the French regional airport from Algiers and Constantine.
From its base in Algiers-Houari Boumediene, rotations are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, while from Constantine, only one flight per week is scheduled, on Wednesdays. Air Algerie has no competition on these routes.
Air Algérie had stopped its flights from Lorraine Airport due to the health crisis in March 2020. In 2019, before Covid-19, Lorraine Airport reported 57,000 passengers to Algiers, Oran and Constantine, "a record year", according to the airport.
