Kenya : Safe Air introduit deux Airbus A321 loués
As the winter season approaches, Kenyan carrier Safe Air is strengthening its operations with the introduction of two leased A321s.
The two aircraft - LZ-MDF (msn 1451) and LZ-MDI (msn 3378) - were acquired under an ACMI contract with Fly2Sky Airlines, a charter carrier based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The lease commenced on 1 November and will run until March 2023.
Under the contract terms, the aircraft will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for this winter's operations. When not operating for the Kenyan airline, they will be "available for other ad hoc projects during the term of the agreement," the Bulgarian charterer says.
Safe Air operates charter flights from Dubai, mainly linking the city with destinations in the Horn of Africa. It also offers its charter services to entities involved in humanitarian operations in remote areas of the continent. Its fleet consists of one Boeing 727-200, two Boeing 727-200(F) and three Fokker 50. Fly2Sky Airlines also operates three A320s.
