Namibia initiates talks with Ethiopian Airlines for the creation of a new airline

Air Namibia, the defunct Namibian state-owned airline, was liquidated on 26 February 2021, due to its inability to pay its debts, and the refusal of the Namibian state to inject new public funds. Two years later, Windhoek is again considering setting up a national flag carrier.
