Ethiopian Airlines takes delivery of its 20th Airbus A350-900

To modernise its fleet of wide-body aircraft, Ethiopian Airlines ordered twenty new A350-900s from Airbus. The European aircraft manufacturer delivered the order in just under seven years, between June 2016 and April 2023.

And for this latest delivery, Airbus and Ethiopian Airlines have once again demonstrated that the massive use of SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) is the way forward to enable the sector to accelerate its energy transition.
