Paradise & Wilderness Group in Africa adopts Hotelogix to handle group operations efficiently
Hotelogix, a globally leading cloud-based hospitality technology provider, said that Africa's Paradise & Wilderness Group has adopted its multi-property management system to gain centralised control over group operations. All 21 properties operating across Tanzania and Zanzibar are running on Hotelogix.
Paradise & Wilderness Group manages 21 properties, including lodges close to famous national parks, resorts, and boutique hotels in and around beautiful beaches. The group is known for its unmatched hospitality and has received excellent ratings and reviews on Tripadvisor. As a growing hospitality brand, the group aims to expand its footprint by adding new properties in the years to come.
Before adopting Hotelogix, the group used a locally sourced solution. "Without the right tech, we were unable to gain centralized control over our group business. Our earlier solution did not have any multi-property features. We couldn’t manage all 21 properties centrally. As we embarked on rapid growth, we realised that only a cloud-based, all-in-one solution could help us. After carefully evaluating a few options, we adopted Hotelogix's multi-property management system," said Niels van Capel, Financial Controller, at Paradise & Wilderness Group.
Hotelogix has enabled Paradise & Wilderness Group to handle group-level revenue management centrally and also offered a channel manager connection to help sell more on OTAs. Additionally, the booking engine integration will allow them to get incremental direct bookings via its website. With Hotelogix, the group has now become compliant with e-invoice issuance as mandated by the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
Speaking more about his experience with Hotelogix, Niels further said, Hotelogix has offered us the much-needed centralised control over everything - from managing rates across properties, accessing several group-wide reports to gain insights into our performance, and knowing guest preferences via central guest history. They have impressed us with faster implementation, seamless integration, and support via a dedicated account manager."
Speaking about this, Brijesh Surendran, Senior Vice President of Sales at Hotelogix, said, "The hotel industry is highly competitive. To accomplish success as a group, hotels need to shift their operations to the cloud. By migrating to Hotelogix, Paradise & Wilderness Group has demonstrated a clear forward-thinking strategy regarding organisational growth and guest happiness that will pay off soon. We welcome them onboard."
