The Ethiopian Airlines Group, Africa's largest aviation group, has opened the second phase of the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, which is now the largest hotel on the continent. The hotel, which opened its first phase in January 2019, now offers a total of 1,024 modern rooms and suites, including fully equipped apartments for long and short-term stays. It also boasts meeting and event facilities that can accommodate up to 5,000 guests, 19 food and beverage outlets, recreational facilities, and panoramic views of the airport and the city.

At the grand opening of the hotel's second phase, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, expressed his pleasure at the achievement, saying that it takes the airline's contribution to Ethiopia's tourism sector to a higher level. The hotel is ideally located in Addis Ababa, the diplomatic capital of Africa, and is just a 5-minute walk from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. With more than 1,000 rooms and several other facilities, it is now the largest hotel on the continent and is suitable for both business and social gatherings.
