ASKY takes delivery of two Boeing 737-8 MAX
After sealing a lease agreement with AerCap, the leading global commercial aircraft lessor, for two Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft on May 22, 2023, ASKY, the Pan-African Airline, is elated to formally introduce its two Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, bearing the registration ET-BAQ & ET-BAR. These aircraft have a seating capacity of 160, including 16 Business Class and 144 Economy Class seats.
The unveiling event was hosted on September 1, 2023, at Lomé's Gnassingbé Eyadema International Airport. It was graced by prominent figures including the Minister of Road, Air and Rail Transport, airport officials, Togo CAA, aviation enthusiasts, ASKY’s senior management, travel agency personnel, media, and special guests.
The Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft are equipped with avant-garde technology that prioritizes fuel efficiency, which in turn minimizes the environmental impact without compromising on superior flight quality. The interiors are tailored to amplify passenger comfort, comprising adaptable seating arrangements and leading-edge in-flight entertainment systems.
This acquisition signifies ASKY's dedication to fleet modernization and ensuring passengers experience the forefront of aviation technology.
