Gabonese Airline signs firm order for ATR 42-600 with option for additional aircraft

The Gabonese airline has signed a firm order for an ATR 42-600, with an option for a second unit. This new aircraft is set to replace Afrijet's older ATR 42-500, offering enhanced amenities to meet the regional flight needs of the Gabonese population. The delivery of the new ATR 42-600 is scheduled for 2025, with the option for the second aircraft to follow in 2026.

Afrijet will operate the new aircraft for Fly Gabon, whose fleet already includes two ATR 72-600s.
