Durban: ACSA urges passengers to allow extra time when travelling to King Shaka International Airpor
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has informed the public on 29 September 2024 that the passport control at King Shaka International Airport (DUR) in Durban has been experiencing technical difficulties. This is leading to slower passenger processing and long queues. ACSA is therefore urging passengers to allow extra time when travelling to the airport.
For domestic flights within South Africa, ACSA usually suggests to arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure to complete check-in procedures.
For international flights, ACSA usually suggests to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure to complete check-in procedures.
