Radisson Hotel Group, a global leader in the hospitality industry has announced Park Inn by Radisson Serviced Apartments Lagos Victoria Island as the winner of Quality Accelerators award for Quarter 3 of the year 2024.

The certificate signed by the Global President and Chief Operating Officer, Radisson Hotels, Chema Basterrechea stated that Park Inn by Radisson Serviced Apartments Lagos Victoria Island was honoured as Quality Accelerators for achieving the biggest quality improvement among all RHG hotels in Q3-2024, with a IGR growth of 8.7 percent versus the same period.

In her swift remarks, Rita Opiah, General Manager, Park Inn by Radisson Serviced Apartments, Victoria Island, Lagos said “This is an honour to all of us at Park Inn by Radisson Serviced Apartments Lagos Victoria Island. Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success. Teamwork is the secret that makes common people achieve uncommon results, it is our spirit of teamwork that brings this laudable achievements on our way”.

This is the first time a Park Inn by Radisson brand in the Radisson Hotel Group bags such honour.

Opiah is an hospitality veteran with nearly two decades of quality experience in the industry. She joined the Radisson Hotel Group in 2018, leading one of the swiftest transitioning and opening projects by the Group in Africa.

In her current role as General Manager, she oversees daily operations and executive management of a team with well over hundred employees, as well as the rollout of a multi-million-naira revamp and upgrade program which is well underway.

Rita is the first female Nigeria to occupy her current role of General Manager within the hotel group.

Radisson Hotel Group is a massive hospitality chain with over 1,380 hotels and 227,310 rooms in operation and under development globally.

Radisson Hotels have a strong presence in 95 countries, making them one of the top two largest hotel groups in the world by number of rooms and hotels.
