Air Peace celebrates 10th anniversary with thrilling October Fest
West Africa’s largest carrier, Air Peace Limited, concluded its month-long October Fest sports festival on October 20, 2024, as a highlight of its 10th anniversary celebrations.
The tournament, designed to foster unity and camaraderie among Air Peace staff, featured football matches for both male and female teams. After weeks of intense competition, BXG Gunners emerged as champions in the male category, defeating BQQ Warriors in a thrilling penalty shootout.
In the female category, BUJ Amazons secured victory over BYF Angels, also through penalties. The winners and runners-up received significant financial rewards.
Air Peace CEO/Chairman, Dr. Allen Onyema, emphasized the importance of the October Fest as a symbol of the airline’s resilience and dedication. “This festival isn’t just about competition; it’s about bringing our Air Peace family together and recognizing our shared achievements,” he stated.
