Emirates increases flights between Madagascar and Seychelles Emirates increases flights between Madagascar and Seychelles

Emirates has officially announced the exciting introduction of a fifth weekly flight on its highly sought-after Dubai – Antananarivo route, which is set to commence on 13 December 2024. This new service will be available for a limited duration of four weeks, specifically designed to accommodate the rising demand from holidaymakers during the busy travel period that is traditionally associated with year-end festivities and vacations.

The additional weekly flight, which will take place on Fridays, is expected to significantly enhance capacity, providing travelers with more than 1,800 seats in each direction per week. This increase in capacity will not only support the seasonal demand for travel but also provide passengers with greater flexibility, choice, and connectivity when planning their trips. Following the successful launch of services to Madagascar in September, this strategic decision by Emirates to increase capacity on its Dubai / Seychelles / Antananarivo route will further enable the airline to effectively meet market demand and cater to the needs of its diverse customer base.

The new additional weekly frequency will operate under the flight numbers EK707 and EK708, designed to accommodate a three-class configuration that caters to a variety of passenger preferences. Effective from 13 December 2024 until 10 January 2025, flights EK707 and EK708 are scheduled to operate with specific timings that will be communicated to passengers prior to their travel dates, ensuring they have all the necessary information for smooth planning (all times are local). This temporary boost to capacity during the four-week period will serve to complement Emirates’ existing services on EK707 and EK708. The airline will be utilising its state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for these flights, which are renowned for their comfort and efficiency.

Each of these aircraft is equipped to accommodate a total of 360 passengers, offering a range of seating options across First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class. This diverse configuration allows Emirates to cater to the varying needs and preferences of its passengers, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience for everyone on board. In summary, the introduction of this fifth weekly flight on the Dubai – Antananarivo route represents a strategic enhancement by Emirates to its service offerings, particularly during a peak travel season that is characterized by increased demand. By boosting capacity and providing additional options for travelers, Emirates aims to solidify its position as a leading airline in the region while ensuring that customers can enjoy a seamless and efficient travel experience. This initiative not only reflects the airline's responsiveness to market demands but also its ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction, making it a noteworthy development in the aviation industry.
